FUNERALS

A FITTING TRIBUTE

The day of a loved one's funeral can be a daunting prospect.

It is my job as a Celebrant to take the weight off your shoulders when it comes to the service. I will work with you to create a service for your loved one that is specific to them and their life.

I will meet with you and listen to the stories you tell me about their life.

I will then weave what you tell me into a meaningful eulogy and with your approval, deliver that eulogy at the service.

What goes into the service will be based around your ideas and needs and nobody else's.

Each funeral is unique and will be treated as such.

However, here are some suggestions for things you might want to include:

  • Music
  • A reading or poem
  • A song or hymn
  • The eulogy
  • A moment of quiet reflection
  • Additional words from family or friends
  • Other music
  • Closing words

When we meet, we can discuss all content and possibilities.
The aim is always to make things happen in the way that you want them to.

On the day of the funeral, I will be there to facilitate the smooth running of the service, to deliver a fitting tribute to the highest standard and to support you and your family through a difficult day.

Susan Chown Celebrant, 22 Ludgate, Alloa, FK10 1DP.
