Having been a Celebrant for over six years, I have found a wonderful purpose for skills that I have honed over a long time. During a Ceremony, speaking clearly and well but in an authentic way with warmth is what I try to do, as well as dealing with situations that crop up in a calm and quietly confident way.

All of the varied jobs I have done (from bra fitter to puppeteer) have been people centred and every success I have ever had has been as a result of my ability to communicate.
I am a Mother and a Partner. I have cared for family members in their latter years and through terminal illness. These real life experiences help me in my role as a Celebrant.
I gained my Certificate in Funeral Celebrancy with Distinction, having trained with renowned Celebrant, Neil Dorward.
I gained my Certificate in Wedding and Family Celebrancy with Celebrant Training Scotland, led by the highly regarded Rev. Lindy Irving.
I also have an MA (Joint Hons) in Theatre Studies/Biblical Studies and an HND in Acting and Performance.
I am based in Alloa in the middle of the central belt of Scotland, between Edinburgh and Glasgow. You can see in the photo, my trusty Honda Jazz sitting outside the house and that means that I can travel to wherever you want your ceremony to be!
....all the better to hear you with....when my mum gave me this brutal haircut in primary 3, I didn't much appreciate the way it showed off the size of my lugs. It has taken me till now to realise that they are part of the reason I am such a good listener, perhaps the most important thing you can be when you are a Celebrant...thanks mum xx
