Being a member of Agnostic Scotland allows me to do the legal part of your wedding ceremony as well as the other components.
We will then work together to create a ceremony that tells your story, shares your values and all that is important to you in a way that feels easy and comfortable.
Recent times have allowed couples to rethink the things that are truly important to them when it comes to their weddings.
With original plans put on hold and numbers of guests reduced, there has been a real scaling down of events. That doesn't need to mean a reduction in the quality of the ceremony that you have. In fact it has led to some wonderfully intimate and meaningful ceremonies that really reflect the depth of love the couples have for each other.
With a smaller number of guests, there is perhaps a chance to create something more personal and unique and for everyone to share in it or take part in it in a more connected way.
Because it isn't a legal ceremony, a wedding blessing can take place anywhere and can take any form you like. I will help you shape your ceremony into a happy and lasting memory.
This Wedding Blessing took place in a friend's garden with just immediate family in attendance, two weeks after the couple were legally married in the Registry Office. It was jeans and masks that day, but on the day of their blessing, it was a chance to dress up and celebrate. Blue skies, homemade decorations and smiles all round.
